XTAR AA 1.5V 3300mWh Li-ion Battery

This set of AA lithium-ion rechargeable batteries is a nice set. The advantage to lithium-ion over NiMH rechargeable batteries is the voltage will not rapidly taper off. So, much like alkaline batteries, lithium-ion batteries will maintain a steady charge until they need to be recharged. These batteries arrive in a nice plastic storage box. Their 3300 mWh rating is quite good and implies pretty long service before a charge is needed. When you consider these batteries can be recharged hundreds of times, the cost savings over disposable alkaline batteries is enormous.

The constant 1.5V output completely eliminated those annoying low-battery warnings that used to pop up with alkalines.
