XTAR 1.5V AA 4000mWh Rechargeable Li-ion Battery, with C4-AA charger

This 1.5V AA 4000mWh Li-ion battery has a neat design — a tap on the positive cap makes the built-in indicator flash to show the battery level. Right out of the box, mine all flashed three or four times, meaning they had over half charge left. The included charger is compact and does the basics — no indicator light on the charger itself, but you can just check the battery's own indicator to see how charging is going. It's simple to use. I'm planning to test them in my door lock to see how they hold up.

maybe i dont have the touch, but i cant ever get these to read out the current charge, also kind of a pain to wait and count the green blinks. however they seem built ok and time will tell if they work well.

Pretty good overall. The battery LEDs turn on and off randomly while our small robots are driving around, which is distracting for the students. It’s also a bit of an annoyance that you have to have their own special individual charger, and the other chargers, smart chargers XTAR, don’t work on them.

They are surprisingly powerful. We’re able to drive four TT motors and a couple micro servers while seen very minimal voltage sag with 4 Aa batteries.
