I bought these cells along with a VX2 Pro charger. Tried evaluating via Grad(e) mode. The cells consistently charged to ~2500mah/1.50v, but there is a conflict between the cell's protection and the charger's normal Grad mode cycle termination, as the cell's led would blink to indicate full charge but the Grad mode would not end with Done message. I repeated Grad mode tests on Eneloop 1.2v NiMH cells and the charger finished the discharge/charge cycle in normal manner with Done message. So both cells and charger appear to be 5 stars.

This was my first experience with 1.5v rechargeable cells. As I have used the 1.2v Eneloops exclusively for 15 years in AAA and AA devices, I also discovered there is a major difference in the energy capacity, more specifically device run times. My Eneloops are probably going to get little use after getting these Xtar cells. In fact, I now have a follow up order for 1.5v AAA. Thanks Xtar!
